While no one can predict the future, the tools in this workshop help improve the targeting for future bets, and provide ways to hedge and update those investment bets on a regular basis.

The Voice-of-the-Market Workshop introduces a set of tools to help analyze existing markets using market dynamics as the basis of the analysis. The tools provide means to uncover hidden innovation opportunities within the structure of established markets. The tools are semi-quantitative, and can provide a first order estimate of the magnitude of these new opportunities.

The Voice-of-the-"Jobs" Workshop introduces a set of tools to help analyze existing markets using "customer jobs" as the basis of the analysis. The tools provide means to uncover hidden innovation opportunities among the "jobs to be done" within established markets. The tools are semi-quantitative, and can provide a first order estimate of the magnitude and value proposition of these new opportunities.

The Voice-of-the-User Workshop introduces a set of tools to help analyze existing markets using unmet, latent or abandoned user needs as the basis of the analysis. The tools provide means to uncover hidden innovation opportunities within work and usage patterns of users. The tools are qualitative in nature, and can often yield major innovation opportunities that remain hidden through other insight methods.

The Voice-of-the-Data Workshop introduces a set of tools to help quantify and select among competing needs and requirements in an established market. The tools provide means to increase understanding and reduce uncertainty among complex tradeoffs among features, benefits, pricing and positioning. The tools are quantitative in nature, and generally deliver a clear set of options for configuring Innovation Opportunities.
