MacMillan's key-note presentation from the 2006 EIG (Entrepreneurship,
Innovation and Growth) Symposium titled, "Observations on Corporate
Venture Capital" is now available. The sold out EIG symposium was
held November 6-7, at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge, MA.

MacMillan's presentation detailed preliminary findings from the NIST, MIT
Sloan School of Business, Wharton School of Business and NVCA study, "Emerging
Technology and Innovation in U.S. Industry: The Role of Corporate Venture
Capital."
The aim of this research program is to understand specifically how
Corporate Venture Capital funds ("CVCs") within corporations
invest and interact with private, venture-backed companies, and contribute
to technology innovation within their organizations as well as in the
broader innovation ecosystem.
