New Case Study: Portfolio Genesis:
Technology Strategy Yields Premium Fast Food
|
|
|
A
Leading producer of dispensable food products had conceptualized an
opportunity for the automated preparation of perishable convenience foods
within the food service marketplace. Although they had identified an
opportunity to provide the consumer with a fresh-made, customized food
product, the client had difficulty in identifying and integrating
technologies.
Product
Genesis's applied our Portfolio Genesis process and began with a
review of the critical on-demand food production process. As an integral
part of the Portfolio Genesis process, Product Genesis assisted
the client in developing an Intellectual Property portfolio that covered
the general use of the selected technologies in food preparation
applications.
Product
Genesis helped the client develop a technology roadmap and corresponding
intellectual property portfolio to underpin the production of a radically
new perishable food distribution product. Further legitimizing the work
done through the process was the attraction of numerous new distribution
partners to the client, not to mention the seven US patents that have
been issued.
